Yes, the Sky Fiber modem is portable and can be used in various locations across the country where there is mobile network coverage, as it is designed for desktop use and connects to a power outlet.

According to the regulations set forth by the Communication Regulatory Authority, each Iranian citizen is permitted to hold a maximum of 10 active SIM cards, while non-Iranian citizens may possess up to 3 active SIM cards (considering all operators in the country). Consequently, it is not possible for operators to register a new SIM card beyond these limits. In such cases, to register a new SIM card, the user must first relinquish one of their existing SIM cards and then proceed to register the new SIM card in their name.

Users can verify the number of SIM cards registered in their name by visiting mobilecount.cra.ir.

As per the regulations of the Communication Regulatory Authority, it is mandatory to present the original and a copy of the smart national ID card (new national ID card) or birth certificate, along with the receipt for the national ID card replacement, to the postal officer at the time of SIM card delivery. Therefore, if the original and copies of the documents are not available at the time of delivery, the SIM card will not be handed over to the user and will be delivered at a later time.

If a user wishes to transfer ownership of their SIM card, they, and the buyer of the SIM card, must visit a Shatel office in person, while taking their original identification documents with them; so that, The official transfer of ownership will be conducted in accordance with Shatel’s current terms and conditions. It is important to note that issuing any power of attorney to another individual does not constitute a transfer, and all responsibilities will remain with the user until the legal transfer of ownership is completed.
